Gatlingburg 4th of July Parade
Starting at midnight on July 3rd, come out for the Independence Day Parade in Downtown Gatlinburg. This is a special year for the parade, being the 40th time it has been held in Gatlinburg! In the past, the event has garnered as many as 100,000 visitors. As always the parade is FREE for spectators.

47TH Annual Norris Day July 4th Celebration
events begin at 8:15 a.m. and end with evening fireworks on the commons. Events include games, bicycle parades, a dog show and water ball battle. At 11 a.m. Tennesseans for Living History present a Liberty Pole program at Norris Middle School. Admission is free. Barbecue dinners are $8 at the middle school. The evening program starts at 6 at the Norris Lions Community Pavilion. Running enthusiasts can begin the day with the Firecracker Road Run sponsored by the Norris Recreation Commission. Later the children’s Dog Show will be held on the Norris Commons, followed by the one-mile Fun Run. No one will want to miss the children’s Wheel Race, the Bicycle Parade, the Water Balloon Toss or the Water-Ball Battles. There will be sack races and duck races, too. One of the highlights of Norris Day is the wonderful barbeque dinner--barbeque pork and chicken with all the sides served by the Norris Lions Club in the Norris Middle School cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Norris Day will conclude with a fireworks show. “Let Freedom Ring” 4th of July at Marble Springs
10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please join us at Marble Springs State Historic Site as we celebrate the Fourth of July with a “Let Freedom Ring” bell ringing ceremony. In 1963, an act of Congress officially authorized the Let Freedom Ring National Bell Ringing Ceremony. This patriotic act says it is "fitting" and "appropriate" to ring bells in honor of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence. To participate on the 4TH OF JULY, bell ringing institutions across the country are to ring 13 times at 2:00 p.m. EDST. Additional activities include storytelling, long hunter camps, Liberty Pole decoration, a synopsis of the Declaration of Independence and history. 25th Annual Patriot Festival
Starts at 12pm Thousands gather at Patriot Park each year for this free event. The fun typically starts around noon with games and activities for kids. There’s also live musical entertainment, which starts early in the afternoon and lasts until 9:30 or 10 at night. Pigeon Forge - Patriot Festival

On Independence Day, thousands of locals and visitors flock to Patriot Park to celebrate and enjoy live musical entertainment and kid- friendly festivities for the Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival. The musical guests this year will be Diamond Rio along with a Journey tribute band, community chorus and local talent from Pigeon Forge theaters and shows. The vendors will be opening up 12:00 pm and the performers will begin at 1:30 throughout the day until the grand finale – an celebratory fireworks show illuminating the sky over the majestic Smoky Mountains. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley Rubber Duck Race
Race begins at 2:02 PM. A Duck Race of approximately 40,000 to 50,000 rubber ducks with a grand prize of $10,000! The race will take place at 2:02 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014 at The World's Fair Park in Knoxville. The race benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, serving over 6,300 members at 17 Clubs in Knox, Blount, Loudon, and North Anderson Counties. You can adopt a duck online, at ORNL , or Pilot. At 2:02 pm on race day, the rubber ducks are dumped from a dump truck into the water at World’s Fair Park and the race begins! Clinton’s Fourth of July
The city of Clinton's annual 4th of July event will begin at 5pm on Saturday July 4th, and end with fireworks at 10pm at Lakefront Park. Several family-friendly activities will be going on that day. Backyard Bouncers will have a Bongo Bounce House, Bungee Run, Home Run Baseball Game, Spaceball 2000 Human Gyro, 68ft Army Boot Camp Obstacle Course, 22 ft 2 Lane Tsunami Water Slide with Slip-n-Slide, Race Car Combo with Water Slide, Human Hamster Ball and Pirate Bounce House are available for the public. Free of charge but kids must have a wrist band to ride. Laser Tag will be available for those kids up for the challenge, also free of charge. There will be several food vendors set up in the lower Lakefront parking lot and the parking lot by the concession area including Bojangles, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Pizza Express, Riverview Grille, Coldwater Farms and Hibachi Truck. A corn-hole tournament will get started at 7pm with registration at 6pm. Trophies will be awarded for first and second places. Live musical entertainment sponsored by WYSH will feature the Leon Thomas Band on the men's field from 7 to 9:45 pm. The Clinton Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America will have some antique cars displayed on the men’s field.
